Privacy Policy

We appreciate your interest in our Privacy Policy. At Rayon Brown Coaching, we take the protection of your data very seriously. Below we explain what data we collect when you use our website and how it is used.

  1. General Information
  2. a) What law applies?

Our use of your Personal Data is subject to both the UK’s Data Protection Act (“DPA”) and the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), and we process your Personal Data accordingly.

  1. b) What is Personal Data?

Personal Data is any information relating to personal or material circumstances that relates to an individual. This may include a name, date of birth, email address, postal address, or telephone number, but also online identifiers such as IP addresses or device IDs.

  1. c) What is processing?

“Processing” means any operation or set of operations which is performed upon Personal Data, whether or not by automatic means. The term is broad and covers virtually any handling of data.

  1. d) Who is responsible for data processing?

The responsible party within the meaning of the DPA and the GDPR is Rayon Brown Coaching. If you have any questions or wish to exercise your rights, please contact us at Rayon79brown@gmail.com or use our Contact Form.

  1. e) What are the legal bases of processing?

In accordance with the DPA and the GDPR, we must have at least one of the following legal bases to process your Personal Data:

  • Fulfilment of contractual obligations: The purposes of data processing are primarily based on the coaching services we provide.
  • Legitimate interests: Where necessary, we process your data to safeguard the legitimate interests of our business or third parties (e.g., ensuring IT security, business development, and defense against legal claims).
  • Consent: Insofar as you have given us your consent to process personal data for specific purposes.
  1. f) Is there an obligation for me to provide data?

You are only required to provide personal data necessary for the establishment and implementation of our business relationship. Without this data, we may be unable to conclude or perform a contract for coaching services.

This process evaluates the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes and helps us optimize future advertising efforts. The data collected is anonymous to us but is stored and processed by Facebook.

  1. c) Content Delivery Network (CDN) & CMS

We use WordPress and its associated CDN to distribute and maintain our online content. Information such as your IP address and browser details are transmitted to these service providers to ensure the technical performance of the site.
